The adult softball leagues will play at eight-game season at Travis Park, 3004 Avenue N.  Play will begin the week of October 12.Register September 29 to Participate

Parks and Recreation Director Darren McCarthy is asking for everyone wishing to play “Fall Ball” to register by September 29.  The adult softball leagues will play at eight-game season at Travis Park, 3004 Avenue N.  Play will begin the week of October 12.

Men’s Open Softball leagues will play on Monday and Thursday nights; and Coed Open Softball leagues will play on Tuesday nights.

Leagues are limited to a maximum of 12 teams for Men’s Open and 8 for Coed Open.

Teams must register on September 29 from 8 am to 5 pm at the Parks/Public Works offices at 3720 Airport Avenue.  There is a $350 entry fee to participate.

The unlighted field is located at Macario Garcia Park located at 716 Blume Road.  

Reservations for the soccer field and all park facilities are to be made in person by visiting the Rosenberg Civic and Convention Center, 3825 Highway 36 South, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Questions may be directed to 832-595-3520 or 832-595-3960.

 
109 Young Anglers participated in Trout Fishing Tournament Print E-mail

FISHtastic, the City's February 7th annual fishing tournament held at the lake at Seabourne Creek Park brought out 109 young anglers, their parents or friends from Rosenberg, Richmond, Houston, Sugar Land, Needville, Egypt, El Campo, Fresno, and Simonton.   The free trout fishing tournament was hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department for anglers ages 4 to 14.
