The August 14 concert will welcome back the MOFO PARTY BAND and their "blues grooves" not-to-be-missed stage show. With strong influences from old-school Chicago Blues and West Coast Jump, The MoFo Party Band out of Fresno, California, is headed by the Clifton brothers; John - blowin' harmonica and growlin' vocals and Bill - pickin' licks on his Tele. Considered to be one of the best blues bands on the West Coast, the MoFo Party Band with their retro look, stage show, and lively blues, has performed with Luther Tucker, Filmore Slim, and Eddie Gayle of the Sun Rah Jazz Orchestra.Known for their energetic live performances and stage presence, the MoFo Party Band is generously sponsored by their biggest fan and Rosenberg's downtown entrepreneur, Bill Butler. The final Friday Night Concert, also sponsored by Bill Butler, will feature the Sugarland Brass Company on August 21. The concert will start at 7 pm, weather permitting, and will be held at Third Street Park between Avenues F and G in the Historic Downtown District. There are no provisions to relocate the concert to an alternate site should inclement weather force the cancellation of the event. Another Time Soda Fountain & Café will be open for pre-concert dining. Music enthusiasts should bring their lawn chairs, family, friends, and love of music. -END- PHOTO ATTACHED: MoFo Party Band (L-R): Cobra Finney, John Clifton, Bill Clifton, Daniel Burt
